Different Images - Self Esteem.

Why should every OPINION matter?
It shouldn't but sadly it happens....
Children, Teens and even Adults battle with low self esteem....EVERYDAY!!!
Low self-esteem can form from many subjects. Several individuals delevop low self-esteem from:
  •  Being bullied in school.
  • Not being comfortable with their physical appearances ( for an example; weight, height, size of nose, ears, lips, acne, speech impediments, disabilities, clothing and etc).
  • Ending of personal/dating relationships.
  • Some children have self-esteem issues when they're adopted as well because, they feel as if no one wants them and they have been abandoned.
  • Some people automatically have self-esteem issues when they're not recognized by the ones they love i.e ( Parents, Friends, Spouse).
  • Simple lack of confidence.
Self-esteem issues have ended or almost ended in terrible ways. A lot of low-esteem victims have resulted in taking their own lives or even attempting to.

Many people in the world battle with self-esteem issues, they're just better at hidhing it than others.

Some of the people that seem the happiest and always brag amongst their looks are the most unhappy people but they know how to cover their emotions up by false "Conceit".

It's VERY important to respect others and be nice to everyone. You never know what someone else is going through and a simple smile, compliment or invite could change their whole attitude.

When I think about the subject of low self-esteem, I begin to think of the Video lyrics by India Aire because the words are pure and the meaning is incredible. The song is great because it let's you know that it's ok to be yourself, regardless of what anyone else seems to think. What a lot of individuals living with low self-esteem don't realize is life would be horrible with duplicate people, that's why it's only ONE you!

"I’m not the average girl from your video
And I ain’t built like a supermodel
But I learned to love myself unconditionally because I am a queen...
I not the average girl from your video
My worth is not determined by the price of my clothes
When I look in the mirror and the only one there is me
Every freckle on my face is where it’s suppose to be
And I know my creator didn’t make no mistakes on me
My feet, my thighs, My Lips, My eyes, I’m loving what I see
Now don’t be offended this is all my opinion
Ain’t nothing that I’m saying law
This is a true confession
Of a life learned lesson
I was sent here to share with y'all
So get in when you fit in
Go on and shine, Clear your mind, Now’s the time
Put your salt on the shelf, Go on and love yourself
Cause everything’s gonna be alright."
Song Lyrics By - India Aire (Video)

SO REMEMBER:
No one is better at being you than YOU!

Color Blocking!

FASHION TRENDS ARE CREATED EVERYDAY!
Fashion does'nt consist of any rules, because it's your own personal expression. However, if fashion did have rules, I would have to say the main one should be "NEVER BE TO MATCHY, MATCHY". One of the latest and most noticed trends are color blocking. Color blocking happens to be very popular on the runway as well. In my opinion, color blocking is a all year round trend. During the Spring season, you should color block with very light pastel colors. During the Fall, it's a great idea to color block with various shades of browns and dark colors. Of course in the Summer, you would color block with unlimited shades of bright colors or even patterns. Lastly, in the Winter season, you should color block with soft nude colors. It's even a great idea to color blocking with your footwear. The best thing about color blocking happens to be, you can make a color blocking a long drawn out process while getting dressed or you can even make it really quick by just throwing on a bunch of random colors and still look fashionable while you wear the creative outfit!

Autism Speaks!

TODAY I JOINED AUTISM SPEAKS!

autismspeaks

I'm really interested in Autism for various reasons, but the MAIN reason happens to be because, I have a god-brother named Antione, who has had Autism his WHOLE life. He's in his mid twenties now but is, still at a child's level. HE'S THE SWEETEST GUY EVER AND I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!! We even lived together at one period of time. Those are the type of memories that I'll never forget!! A couple years back his mother passed, which caused us to lose contact. Today I was browsing the internet and came across something involving Autism Speaks. Once I seen this, I INSTANTLY thought of him. This had to be a sign!! I always said that I wanted to get involved with a organization based on giving back but I never knew exactly what I wanted to do. Then it clicked! "Charisma, this is the program for you!". I think it's very important to get involved with these type of programs because, if were all able to come together, I truly believe that we can make a difference. Not only did I join Autism Speaks for my god-brother but, I joined it for the other human beings living with Autism. Im very proud of my decision.

YOU CAN DONATE TO THE AUTISM SPEAKS ORGANIZATION AT givenow.autismspeaks.org/makeadifference I STARTED MY DONATION GOAL AT $200. ONCE IM OVER $200, I'LL RAISE IT TO $500 AND THEN HIGHER AND HIGHER! I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATION MADE AT givenow.autismspeaks.org/makeadifference IT'S FOR A GREAT CAUSE!!! LETS CHANGE THE WORLD AND CHANGE LIVES AT THE SAME TIME ;)

GOD BLESS!!

Interview With Love&HipHop Star Yandy Smith

Charisma: Hey! How are you? So glad I get to work with you today.

Yandy: Im great!

Charisma: Who inspires you and why?

Yandy: I'm inspired by every teen that doesn't give into peer pressure and that takes a stand against drugs and violence. I'm inspired by all the woman that made it to the top of the executive ladder with out compromising who they are and their integrity to do it. And the reason why those groups of people inspire is they have unconditional love, loyalty, courage and they don't settle for status quo.

Charisma: So sweet you have a great heart! What are some of your dreams/goals as a business woman even though you already accomplished a lot?

Yandy: For me nothing matters if I can't share my fortune! It's true -it aint no fun if my friends can have none. My goal is to be so successful in my businesses that I can employ my friends and family.

Charisma: What's the best thing about being apart of reality tv and what's the worst?

Yandy: The best thing is you get to be yourself and get paid for it! Lol no scripts no retakes- it's an easy check. The worse part is people think the one edited side is who you are entirely and they're wrong. they don't see my family life, they don't see my struggle, my hard work a lot of these shows focus on the drama and that's so not me.

Charisma: If you could change the world in one way, how would you do it?

Yandy: I would pay teachers more, provide more housing for the homeless and battered, lastly I would make every school have a course on how to love. Sorry gave you three!

Charisma:  Thank you so much for your time! xoxo You're a great person! Much success. Take care!

Yandy: Thank you for conducting great twitter interview. I wish you much success in your studies. By the way, great questions.
